	As a measure of funding to promote Group strategy, Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group issues straight bonds and preferred securities at the holding company level as well. We are implementing an optimal capital strategy for the entire Group that avoids dilution of equity and lowers funding costs through utilizing corporate bonds and other types of debt efficiently and paying attention to maintaining the soundness of the holding company.
