Support to Prevent Cancers Specific to Women

Support to Prevent Cancers Specific to Women

As part of our efforts to support women's health, MUFG donated 30 million yen to the Japanese Society for Fertility Preservation (JSFP) with the aim of spreading correct knowledge of breast and cervical cancers for early detection and prevention measures.

The organization utilizes these donations to create leaflets and other materials and engage in awareness-raising activities.

In conjunction with International Women's Day in March 2025, MUFG hosted an event where both parents and children could learn about cancer together. To help the younger generation gain knowledge about breast cancer and cervical cancer, parents and children participated in a "mystery-solving" challenge.

Moving forward, MUFG and our employees will continue to pursue various initiatives to ensure that customers, communities, society, and future generations can choose healthy and diverse lifestyles.

Installation of ParaCanvas, a Service for Distributing Art by People with Disabilities

ParaCanvas is a service provided by Wind-bell Co., Ltd. that distributes the works of artists with disabilities who are affiliated with the Borderless Art Organization, on digital canvases. This system creates a continuous economic cycle by providing compensation for enjoying the artworks. The service is based on the philosophy of connecting artists with disabilities to society.

MUFG resonates with this philosophy and, as part of our social contribution activities and the promotion of a circular economy, we have installed ParaCanvas in MUFG PARK and at various MUFG Group locations to support the creative activities of artists with disabilities.
